How should I care for my headcover(s)?
Our 100% wool headcovers are made to last and should provide years of use. To get the most out of your headcover(s):
- Grasp the cover by the knit fabric when taking it off your club. Never pull it by the pompom.
- Trim any stray pompom strands with sharp scissors. Do not pull strands out of the pompom.
- Spot clean or hand wash gently with cold water and mild soap when needed and lay flat to dry. Avoid wetting the pompom if possible.
- Do not machine wash or dry. As with all natural wool products, aggressive washing/drying may cause the item to felt and shrink.
- Avoid using knit covers (of any make) on clubs that have sharp edges that could cut or fray the yarn.
What countries do you ship to?
Orders placed via this website can be shipped to Canada or the United States. If you would like to place an order from another country, please visit our Etsy shop at collingwoodgolfco.etsy.com.
Why don't you charge sales tax?
Collingwood Golf Co is a small local business and we're focused on quality over quantity. Our current sales volumes don't require us to charge sales tax to Canadian and US customers. We will update this policy as our business grows.
Purchases completed through our Etsy shop do include sales tax since they are processed through the Etsy payment system.
Can you create other custom designs?
Sure! If you're looking for something specific that you can't find on our storefront, we'd be happy to work with you to create your perfect headcover.
Please contact us with details about what you are looking for. Typically, we can then set up a custom product listing for you via our Etsy shop.
Please note that custom orders are final sale.
What if my cover gets damaged?
If your headcover arrives damaged or defective, please contact us so we can make it right.
If your headcover becomes damaged after some use, we may be able to repair it. Please contact us with the details and we can confirm if a repair is possible and provide a quote.
Can I sell your headcovers in my store / place a wholesale order?
Absolutely! Please contact us to discuss the details.
Do you offer custom embroidery?
At this time, we are not able to offer custom embroidery options for our covers, but may offer this service in the future.
You may be able to work with a local embroidery shop to complete custom embroidery after purchasing a cover, if desired.
How big are the different headcover sizes?
Please see our handy size chart for a visual comparison.
Driver covers are 15.75" long with a 10" neck; fairway wood covers are 12.75" long with a 8.75" neck; and hybrid covers are 9.5" long with a 6" neck.
Driver and fairway wood covers have a 5" diameter pompom and hybrid covers have a 4" diameter pompom.
Sizes may vary slightly due to the natural materials and handmade nature of our headcovers.
